Everything you need to know about Younimatiq
What is Younimatiq?
expand_more
Younimatiq is a live, online learning platform for kids aged 5–16, offering interactive classes in Coding, AI, Minecraft, Roblox, Robotics, Math, English, Music, Arts, Public Speaking, and Life Skills/Sanatan Dharma, Yoga courses — taught by real instructors, in real time, not pre-recorded videos.
How often are classes, and how long do they run?
expand_more
Most students attend 1-2 sessions per week, 45–55 minutes each. Schedules flex around school, sports, and family commitments.
How is Younimatiq different from other EdTech platforms?
expand_more
Younimatiq keeps classes small and instructor-led, with a game-based, project-first teaching approach — kids build, code, and create rather than passively watch. We're also the only EdTech platform where learning directly contributes to a greener planet — through our Green Initiative, every 200 classes taught plants a tree, and students earn a Green Energy Badge after completing 24 classes.
What devices does my child need?
expand_more
A laptop or tablet with a webcam and stable internet connection. Coding and AI Mastery tracks work best on a laptop.
Are Younimatiq classes live or pre-recorded?
expand_more
All core classes are 100% live, with real-time interaction between the instructor and student. Recordings may be provided for revision, but the primary learning experience is live.
Is the curriculum aligned with my child's school?
expand_more
Yes — coaches customize sessions to complement your child's grade-level curriculum, aligned to Common Core standards.
Who are Younimatiq's instructors?
expand_more
Instructors are vetted subject specialists — background-checked, trained in child-safe teaching practices, and specialized in specific verticals (e.g., a dedicated Robotics teacher, a dedicated Public Speaking coach), rather than generalist tutors covering every subject.
Can my child try a class before enrolling?
expand_more
Absolutely — every family starts with one free trial class, no commitment required.
Is my child's safety and privacy protected during live classes?
expand_more
Yes. Classes are conducted on Zoom, a secure and monitored platform, sessions can be recorded for quality/safety review, and instructors follow strict child-interaction guidelines. Parents can request session recordings if needed.
Can my child combine two subjects, like Coding and AI Mastery?
expand_more
Yes, many families mix and match tracks. We'll help you build a schedule that fits.
What age group is Younimatiq designed for?
expand_more
Younimatiq serves children aged 5–16, with age-banded course levels (e.g., 5–7, 7–10, 10–14) to ensure content, pace, and teaching style match developmental stage.
How much does a course cost?
expand_more
Pricing varies by course, format (1:1 vs. group). Check out our Courses to know more.
Can we try a class before enrolling?
expand_more
Yes — Younimatiq offers a free trial/demo class so parents and kids can experience the teaching style, instructor, and platform before committing.
What if my child doesn't like the course after enrolling?
expand_more
This is where the Younimatiq Learning Guarantee applies.
Do you offer refunds or rescheduling?
expand_more
Yes — missed classes can be rescheduled within policy guidelines, and Younimatiq Credits can be used toward future classes in place of a cash refund in most cases.
Why 1:1 instead of group classes?
expand_more
Every Younimatiq class is one-on-one with a dedicated instructor, so the pace, project difficulty, and feedback are built entirely around your child — no waiting on slower classmates and no feeling rushed by faster ones.
What do I need for my child to join a class?
expand_more
A stable internet connection, a laptop/tablet with camera and mic, and for select courses (Robotics, Minecraft, Roblox) any required free software/accounts, which Younimatiq teachers will guide you to set up before the first class.
Do I need to buy hardware separately?
expand_more
Explorer and Builder tracks use simulators for most lessons, so no hardware purchase is required to start. The Innovator track uses physical kits, available to purchase or rent separately.
How is progress tracked?
expand_more
Parents receive progress updates, certificates on course completion, and — through Younimatiq's Green Initiative — visibility into their child's Green Energy Badge milestones alongside academic progress.
Can I switch tracks later?
expand_more
Yes — you can move up (or down) a track as your child progresses, at the start of your next 24-Class Plan. Your instructor and personalised pacing stay the same.
What is the Younimatiq Learning Guarantee?
expand_more
We stand behind the quality of every class. If your child completes a course and you don't see meaningful engagement or progress, Younimatiq will offer a free class credit, a teacher switch, or a tailored learning plan — at no extra cost — until you're confident your child is genuinely learning and growing.
What happens if we miss a class?
expand_more
If you miss a class, a recording of the session will be sent to you so your child doesn't fall behind. If anything in it isn't clear, one of our Master Teachers will step in to walk your child through it.
Does Younimatiq comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)?
expand_more
